Sarphati Amsterdam Symposium 2021

This year we will organise another edition of the Sarphati Amsterdam Symposium. Due to the current corona situation it will be an online edition on the 12th February.

You’ll find all the information below, including the link to register for the event.  The symposium will be held in English with exception of two parallel sessions ‘inclusive communication’ and ‘inclusie participation’. Those sessions will be in Dutch.

THE INVITATION

It is our great pleasure to invite you to our Sarphati Amsterdam Symposium 2021. The registration for the symposium is now open via this link.

The symposium will be an online event that will take place on Friday afternoon, February 12th, 2021 from 14:00-17:00h.
The theme of the symposium is:

 “Inclusive public health: challenges and opportunities” 

We will offer you a diverse programme with numerous possibilities for interaction and discussion with professionals from different fields. The programme will entail:

  • Presentations by renowned speakers highlighting different topics within the theme of this symposium:
    – Charles Agyemang (Amsterdam UMC) on inclusive epidemiology;
    – Corine Meppelink (UvA) on inclusive communication;
    – Christine Dedding (Amsterdam UMC) on inclusive participation.
  • Interactive parallel sessions for in-depth discussions on these topics.
  • Pitches by several Sarphati Amsterdam researchers.

The symposium will be chaired by Karien Stronks (Amsterdam UMC). Please register and join another inspiring edition of the Sarphati Amsterdam Symposium.
